Holly-Hunter

Holly Hunter is an American actor and producer who is well-known for her high-quality performance in films such as Broadcast News The Firm The Piano and The Incredibles. The movie Piano has won several awards for her which included an Oscar. She began her career as an actress on Broadway as well as Off Broadway. The art of acting has been a constant love of life. In the fifth grade she was cast as Helen Keller in an original show. In the fifth grade, due to mumps, she lost her hearing in her left ear. But she didn't allow that to stop her. As a young woman she took classes in drama at college and moved to New York City from Pittsburgh to pursue her ambitions. After a casual encounter, she was trapped in an elevator along with writer Beth Henley and the two joined forces to create the play 'The Broadway Crimes of the Heart that was Hunter's first performance. After moving from Los Angeles she tried to get film roles and bagged a supporting role on Swing Shift. In the last three decades Holly Hunter has been on various TV series and movies. Holly Hunter has a Hollywood Walk of Fame actress as well as the Women in Film Lucy Award.
