Holly-Hunter

Holly Hunter is a well-known American actress also known as a producer, director and actress. She has been praised for her roles in films like Broadcast News The Firm The Piano The Incredibles and The Incredibles. The movie Piano has won several awards for her, among them an Oscar. Her career began acting as an actress both on Broadway and Off Broadway. Since her childhood she's been passionate in the field of acting. She played Helen Keller as a fifth-grade pupil in a school performance. After suffering from the Mumps, she was blind on the other side the ear. This did not stop her ambition to be an actress. She was a drama major at the college, and then moved to Pittsburgh and moved to New York City to follow her dreams. Hunter made her Broadway debut due to a chance meeting in the company of Beth Henley, a playwright. They collaborated on Broadway Crimes of the Heart. As she relocated from New York to Los Angeles, Hunter tried to find film roles. The role of a supporting actress was found for Swing Shift. Her professional career spans over 30 years, and she's been featured in numerous TV shows as well as series and films. Holly Hunter has a Hollywood Walk of Fame actor and was awarded the Women in Film Lucy Award.
